   Great site.

   I too started only in Dec 2006, and has persisted the last few months, reading more than what I have done over the last 10 years.

   I got information overload, and it’s so easy to be distracted in any particular areas you are researching or reading up. So my advise is STAY FOCUS, DEFINE CLEARLY YOUR GOALS & OBJECTIVES.

   Also, the internet provided the information, but with all the marketing strategies employed by the many people out there, you can never be able to differentiate between Reliable Information vs Unreliable Information, Experts (Gurus) vs The Starters (the con-man).

   The World Internet Summit (WIS) May 2007 was really an eye-opener for me personally, not so much of the things I’ve learnt over the 4 days. But much more from the confirmation of what some of the things (not that much though) that are being used by the Experts (Gurus).

   You can find many variations of these methods or strategies on the internet. But NOW to me it becomes a REALITY.

   To jump in to follow with any of the coaches are ALL to tempting. But I told myself, that I’ve learnt enough, to actually start something, and to brush up some of these marketing strategies and to go ahead to make some real money on the internet. And to take up and follow one of the masters next year.

   Why is this important?

   Very simple. The marketing strategies shared by them, are easily found on the internet, so imagine the amount of people (internet marketers - newbie) like us, going out there setting up “shops”, will still pull in sales, as the Market is Huge, and although we are exposed to many concepts like ADWords, Adsense, Landing or Squeeze Pages, Paypal, Sales Conversion techniques, etc…. there are still millions of people out there who are still not exposed to these, and these marketing strategies will still works for years to come.

   But to differentiate ourselves from all the different levels of Internet marketeers out there. We need advanced tools (Split testings, good hosting company, good autoresponders service provider), newer marketing strategies (well guarded by these gurus), Research & trials test results (to know what works and what don’t), and etc….

   So you pay to stay with the team of elite, and stay ahead of the game, and as they say, who you knows matter - we’ll need new and good friends, to stay ahead.

   That’s why I started my very own WIS Network Hub - it’s a club with a Forum to gather all levels of Internet Marketers to share their ideas, to find JV Parters, to offer their services.

   But more importantly, to be able to build our strong network, that we are going to bunch together to support each other’s marketing campaign.

   And when reality of our everyday lives set in, and all those people besides us who don’t know what we are doing, it gets pretty lonely, and we can easily loose our drive.
